Amex questions

got approved with 3 amex cards in first week in sept with prg,bcp,bce and none of them are reporting yet. All three have a statement cut already. when do you think i should be looking for each card to report? (2) i would love to get the amex platinum but am waiting the 100k m. im also looking to apply for edp. how long do i have to wait to be able to get an approval for a revolver as i was approved for two in sept ?  in terms of days/months to get another revolver from amex? i read somewhere 90 something days but am not sure. thanks in advance

Anex accounts report after your 2nd statement .  Two revolvers every 90 days is the ‘rule’ for them.  Curious, why do have both the bcp and bce? Did you do it for the signup bonuses?

thank you very much for the answers. at the time i applied for both cards i didnt really understand amex cards and i applied through credit karma.I think i also applied because that way because i applied for the bce first and i didnt get any bonus or deffered apr so three days later i applied for the prg and bcp and was able to get bcp with deffered intered for 12months but after i did alot of reserch then i realized i was meant to go with the edp.

You got no bonus for the BCE? Ouch.

Well you're in now. You can triple the limit on one of those after 61 days. Future apps will likely be a soft pull which is a very nice membership perk. They treat existing members with good behavior very well. Just remember to get the best bonus you can on any new apps because you're not getting it again.

Used to be general wisdom was 1 card in 5 days and 2 cards in 90 days. The 1/5 rule seems to have broken down lately though because I've seen some people get approved for 2 revolvers on the same day even. The 2/90 rule seems to still be in effect though. I tried to bust the 2/90 rule recently and it came back with an instant denial and the app doesn't even show up on application status. I'm thinking they don't even process it if it hasn't been long enough.
