I might apply for amex everyday card too. Wonder if I had an actual creditline might have made it a differnce with increased points.
If you do go for the ED, do it after you've closed on your mortgage.

Congrats! In reading the thread, was confused: is this your only revolving tradeline or do you have other cards as similar on the report already?
I have 2 auto loans and 5 visa/Mc cards and 2 store cards , all opened within the last 2 years so My AAOA was pretty low and dragging down my score. My only other tradeline is a closed HSBC card from DEC04 ,which is about to fall off in next few months. Thanks to this board ,I learned about AMEX member since date policy and applied for PRG gold and AMEX luckily they found my old AMEx acoount and backdated me.
