Amex showing a little Luv

Well after reading all the success stories on amex lowering Apr's. I decided to go on chat and give it a go. took a few minutes. But rate lowered from 19.24% to 17.24% i guess its a start. At least they threw me a bone after denying my Cli a couple months ago. After a long 181 day wait. Hopefull in a couple of weeks they will give it up. Thanks all for info as usual.

Yes. For some reason since they stopped backdating they have for sure tightend up on the Cli's. Time and time again you see where they denied a cli. I just don't get it.

The reason they gave. length of time being Amex member too short. I went from $3500 to $10.500 at 61 days. So I wanted to go to $25k. But no. Denied. So i get to try again on September 8th. 90 days since last Decline. Maybe with the Apr reduction its a sign im in their good graces again. I think my real issue was i opened like 6 accounts from getting my Amex to trying for cli.
