So in may I was Approved for BCE with initiali limit 3000, I requested 3x when card arrived, and got approved. So it have 9000 limit.
Also I have Gold card. They are both currently at 0 balance.
I was denied for 3x cli on BCE 2 month ago, I can try again in february.
2 months ago I applied for Delta and Bussines platinum but was denied (I had high utl then)
Today I applied for Delta amex card, was approved for only 1000$ limit.
6 of 7 my cards have at least 5k limit.
1k is very low limit for me, idk what to do.
Should I do in february 3x cli on Delta card and 6 months after that again, and match it with BCE on 9k. Or should I go and ask for BCE cli, because I'll get more limit.
Or you could just use the delta card for delta purchases only after the bonus.....and if you need more limit move some limit to it after 13 months. You also can charge over the limit so its not a real need to have a high delta limit unless you fly a ton.
You may very well not get the 3x cli on the BCE in which if your profile is not ideal it would be better to 3x the delta. If you can prove income then by all means request 27k on the BCE, they could ask for a 4506-T and want to look at income....If you are ok with that, then do the bce and move limit later to delta.
So why didnt you apply for the biz plat this time? What is the bonus on that? Did you get the 50 or 60k offer on your delta?
It's only 30k and 50$ statement credit.
Well for me Delta card is better then BCE.
I will probably after 13th month of BCE transfer limit to Delta
I am trying to get rid of cards that have less then 5k limit.
Well Delta is airline that I use most so why not, I get 50$ discount on return flight because 1st bag is free with the card.
Well I decided that 450$ for platinum is too much.

Whats your EX score?
Delta usually spits out $1k approvals unless your credit is stellar.
Heard this as well. But hey OP, it could be worse. If you hover over my Freedom card, you can see that my starting limit was $200 and it wasn't increased until 4.5 years later.

Congratulations on getting the Delta card, even at $1k. As you realize, it is valuable for your travel benefits.
At $10k of revolving credit, given the outright denial on the BCE 3x and the new card at only $1k, after an initial denial, it is safe to say you are at your internal credit limit with AMEX.
When you got the BCE, and were given the CLI to $9k, that is when you were nearly at your internal limit.
BCE = $9k
Gold = NPSL (is this plain old Gold, or Premier Rewards Gold?)
Delta = $1k.
Leave the BCE alone, don't try for any CLI in February, because it will most likely be denied. That will also let the BCE limit continue to age properly. If you do a CLI on the BCE again, it starts that 13 month clock over, you have to wait 13 months before you can transfer a CLI from one card.
Use the Delta card heavily, PIF, rinse and repeat. If you keep charging up to near the $1k and paying it down, they may give you a bit of an auto CLI, but that's not a guarantee given you are near a ceiling already. I would give it until April, then try for the 3X CLI on this Delta card only. After adding some history, it may go through, but there's not a guarantee.
At June, or more likely July 2016, you can see about transferring the limit from the BCE to the Delta. You may want to leave the BCE open with $1k.
Eventually, with regular usage and patience, and never missing any payments, you should be able to see your AMEX revolver limits rise. Hopefully this is in a few months.

Gold charge card.
Yeah ill probably leave my BCE alone until hits 13 month mark and then transfer some limit to Delta card.
I'll try 3x on delta when I am able to.
And I am thinking to close Gold card. The only good thing is that it's kinda hidden CL for fico scoring.
Well, even with the regular AMEX Gold card, that earns MR points which will transfer to Delta. So you can use your Delta card for basic purchases, maybe for in-flight snacks and such where there is the direct 20%-25% savings, or Delta lounge fees if you use those, and keep it active for the future CLI. You only need to have the Delta gold to get the priority boarding and first checked bag free, you don't have to use it for the actual airline ticket to get these benefits. I get the benefits regularly, even though my travel is paid by my corporate AMEX.
Then use your Gold card heavily, as your daily driver, since it is NPSL, and transfer the MR points you earn over to Delta. In this way, you aren't affected by the $1k limit for the time being, and you still earn Delta miles (after the transfer of the MR points) just like if you used the Delta Gold card. Even the 2x points on airlines is the same as you'd get using the Delta card. And you are building your charge / payment history with AMEX for those future CLI requests.
