@Bman70 - sorry man, didn't mean to hijack thread.... With Amex SPing you, you must have a pretty good CR. Kudos to you.
No worries, I'm reading with interest. Anything FICO related is cliffhanger material to me And note to self: Write down the report # next time! Used all my annual freebies already and didn't know about that

Lol I'm with you on the cliffhanger material!
As far as free annual CR, did you save it as a pdf anywhere on your comp?
@Oh wait! I did save my Transunion one as PDF.. @Mailak does TU refresh soft pulls like Ex?
EDIT: I mean refresh all info...

Nope! No go on EQ and TU. Works only on EX :-(
This might sound stupid, but how are you checking your soft pulls?
@Mailak wrote:Whwn you obtain your free EX report, note down its report number. You can "view report again" from the Experian site; it refreshes all the info. So you can see your SPs for a long time (six months or so).
Thank you for that advice!
Back on topic, Amex has been soft pulling me every month for years. I don't have an American Express card.

You have to check it in a credit report obtained directly from the reporting agencies - so either reports bought directly from EX/EQ/TU OR reports from annualcreditreport.com, which provide you with direct access to the CRAs. Reports obtained from third-parties (such as MyFiCO even) do not show soft pulls.
I am signed up with all three CRA's on their respective site. The only one than shows soft pulls are EQ. When I submit a dispute and after it is finished they send me a report with soft pulls. Don't know where you can subscribe and get soft pull monitoring for TU and Ex

This is a great service by EX. If they can do it, so could EQ and TU, but I guess they make a lot of money selling this info, so why give it away, It also shows up-to-date information on all accounts, a complete and current report, Thanks for letting us know about it.

I pulled my reports from annualcreditreport.com. Another way, at least with TransUnion, is go click the online dispute link. It will let you examine your report several times for the purpose of disputing an item, but you can just close it afterward without going through with it.
