Amex transfer limits fail?

I believe technically there has always been a 13 month rule. For some people on some occasions, it's not enforced. Who knows why.  But my guess is you've either done a reallocation too recently, and/or the Bonvoy is just too new. They approved the limit they're comfortable with, so I guess they figure you should have to wait to reallocate and make a larger limit.

amex is funny sometimes AJC.  i have been able to move immediately for some new cards, others have made me wait a month or so, though only one every 30 days, that wasnt my issue.  oh well, maybe they just dont like us
