I've got a balance on my Amex BCE and want to pay it down to 0 but it just tells me payment is not required when I click "Make Payment". I suppose I'll keep my money??? LOL
I think this was just a temporary glitch. I am also a new account holder with Amex and was unable to pay yesterday. However, today the system allowed me to pay before a 'balance due' showed on my account. (before the statement cut). Maybe log in and try again?
@Anonymous wrote:When I pay it say allow 24-36 hours for payment to post. I don't use bill pay services on any account. I just link my checking account up to the credit card and that's it. That is why I mailed a check for my second payment the first month. Less hassle. Just write a check put it in an envelope put a stamp on it, and they will e-mail you upon receipt that they got it.
An interesting use of "Less hassle"! At least for me, setting up bill pay once (which I might need to use again) is much less hassle then mailing in stuff.

How do I set that up?
