Lately Chase has been giving me due dates 2 months out after approval , but first statement closes in 30 days.

If it was only me counting on it I'd say 100%, but I can't say 100% to you because I can't guarantee every card behaves that way. My first card with Chase was a Freedom and I can't recall exactly how long it took when I got it, though I'm pretty sure that's what happened. My AARP card and both Southwest cards have followed that pattern.
As long as you haven't had a statement generated yet, then I'm certain that is hasn't reported. All 5 of my Chase cards didn't report until my first statement closed.
You could try sending a secure message to Chase asking when your first statement will close . They are usually pretty quick to respond.
