Oh I totally agree. Just wish they would tell you that which I know they never would. I assume it will take at least the reported 5-7 business days and I’ll report back. If it’s not the desired outcome, this too shall pass, and when I pay off my existing account I will say goodbye.
I really hope you get all this straightend out and like you said this too shall pass. You have the rest of your life and career to hone and this is nothing but a hiccup. Nothing the Doc can't handle! All the best and look forward to your posts, whatever the outcome....you're just getting started and you keep hanging out with us and celebrating future accomplishments, okay?
So far the only people who have been shut down are the one who refused to sign the form and the Italian citizen who signed the form but had no tax file or Equifax file. Equifax is the processor of this form for Discover. I'm not super excited to give Equifax access to my tax transcipts even as just the service provider. At least Amex receives the information directly without a third party.

Actually, Amex is also using EQ now, or at least they did about three weeks ago.No more in house for them, either.
I know, I was quite surprised. I think my first statement was "EX got their heart broken"
It was EQ, though.

For 4506-T.
Sorry for the late response to this thread. Disco closed my current account and the new one I had just been approved for. Guess I need to learn to report what I can prove. I did reach out to them with no success to try and prove myself. They also said they sent a letter "explaining their decision" which I have yet to recieve. It must be the discrepancy in income. I do have a lot of inquiries but that was mainly over a year ago, same with new acocunts. Credit score did take a small hit but seems to have rebounded as I am trying to pay down the higher lines, and now the closed Disco line. Thanks for everyones comments and advice. I'll remain a reader of the boards and hopefully can contribute and share a story here and there.
