I apologize for starting another AMEX Zync thread but after seeing everyone's approvals and responses I got the itch to apply for one.
Surprisingly I got approved! Although, with a $500 hard limit w/autopay for the time being. I honestly thought they'd shut it down, I have a couple collections on my record that are fairly recent.
I'm still very excited to start building my relationship with AMEX!
BTW, does anyone know how long it will take for them to graduate my ZYNC card to NPSL?
Thanks!
Congrats! I just applied and was approved for one too... now I can't sleep but I have to be up in 4 hours
Congrats! I don't recall reading about anyone whose Zync $500 CL graduated to NPSL, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen. It probably takes a long time. You should wait at least a year and then maybe call their CS and ask about it. In the meantime, if you can PFD or GW your CAs (depending on whether they're already paid or not) and get them off your CR, you'll be in a lot better shape to graduate w/Amex.

My Zync had a 500 CL until I received the card. The reason for it was that they gave me a temporary account to use until the card actually came to my house. It went NPSL as soon as I activated it.

The limit you get with a temporary card is different than having the hard $500 limit with autopay imposed.
