Re: Another NFCU Question...

it's never advised to trick them into pulling another bureau but you can ask them to pull TU. they typically will.

just another data point (idk if it's because i gained membership in 2013) but my account approval was instantaneous and my vehicle loan was approved the following morning and i picked the check up that day and bought my vehicle. at that point only 1 HP was done but i don't think that's the case anymore.

That's good to know.  Smiley Happy

OK, as I was about to send this post I got a text from my bro with his 'Access Number'... he sent me a seven digit number; does that sound right?

Due to the hour I'll probably do my app in the AM... I'm just 'proud' that he didn't wait until his last day of enlistment to join - I was afraid in the last minute 'shuffle' he wouldn't have time, but he really came through.  With a little luck my app will float through the membership approval... while I'm completely legit, verification would be a b**ch... and likely a show-stopper.  Hopefully him being currently active duty will help a bit.  I'm a little concerned because we have different last names, but I guess we'll see...

Re: Another NFCU Question...

all you can do with that number is log in and get access to your accounts via phone (if you have security questions correct)

Re: Another NFCU Question...

you should.idk what you read or not but any apps you do just ask for the max ($25k for credit cards and $15k for LOC but you need a checking for that)

based on your current line up the cashRewards would be a good, non AF and higher limit alternative to your cap1 cards and the goRewards has a new structure similar to the BofA 1-2-3 card.
