Hey guys,
Just wanted to check in and briefly praise Discover. They have consistently been good to me over the years. Whether it be CLI's or low APR requests, they always accommodate me. Even their useful no fee cash back feature at grocery stores that I tried for the first time this weekend saved me an ATM trip.
I called in today to inquire about an APR reduction; and they quickly extended me another 12 month 0% APR promotion 6 months after the last 12 month 0% APR promotion they granted me. That"s fantastic IMO. At the end of this current promotion, Discover will have granted me 0% APR for 24 out of the last 30 months. Thats incredible and I doubt many other banks would do the same.
What's been your experience with Discover?
Gotta love Disco. They know how to keep their customers happy
Congratulations to you OP! That's great!
I'm on my second one. When this one ends in March 2020, I will ask for another one too.

Cli wise, not great lol. But they are a fantastic lender imo. Recently came upon the end of my double cash back It and decided to to try and have my apr permanently reduced and they offered me 12 months 0% apr instead. Didnt even have towait 6 months lol. Bt offers galore, still 3% and i just took them up on it so id say Disco Ball Shines
Congrats @Anonymous on getting another promo in less than 6 months. I hope by the time I do another one the BT fee is still only 3%.
My 0% is up near the end of next month so I guess I’ve got til January before I can get another 12 months.
Its so cool that Disco even offers it though to begin with!
Congrats @Credit_hawk!

Sheesh! Y’all are making me want a Discover after pretty much deciding on an Amex in the fall. Will Discover do BT checks or is it just straight BT where they pay off lender?
After waiting and waiting for them to mail my BT transfer checks, which they never did, I asked the MyFICO experts for advice. Taking their advice, I had the $5K BT deposited directly into my NFCU checking account. I hadnt even realized this could be done. Sweet!

Disco will let you take a BT to checking or direct pay the lender but I believe when you first open the account, it’s direct pay only. You can start getting BT offers when your intro APR is up.
