Another possible strike out moving Chase limits

Back in may I called the Jpm executive office to class
My non annual fee sapphire and move the limit over to CSP. After some key punching the rep said sir I have to transfer you to lending. I said oh I'll call back. Lol

So tonight I called again, same request both cards are 13 months.
The guy was making head way until he goes hmm I have to transfer you to lending and they will help you out, but they maybe closed. 2 seconds later he came back before I had to even oh no worries I'll call back lol and said that we're closed. And to call back tomorrow to get the card closed. Well I really don't want to talk to lending about my 10 Chase cards, so I think I'll just let it go again lol.

Re: Another possible strike out moving Chase limits

That was a good decision.  Transferring you to lending prompts a manual review.....

I'd probably lay low for awhile and process the request down the road a bit.

Re: Another possible strike out moving Chase limits

I had to swallow hard and get transferred to lending to consolidate my 6 cards down to 4.

If I had had 10, I might have had a panic attack. Smiley Very Happy

I agree, let some time go by. If not for you, then for your nervesSmiley LOL

Why not send a message to transfer the CL? Whenever I send a message online it's always done. Does this prompt a manual review, as well?

Wait, is Chase not allowing credit line consolidation between personal credit cards now?
