This just goes to show how hard it is to undo (properly earned!) negative PR.   It seems that WF is doing something comparable to Chase and Discover, but getting no love...

The problem with WF hasn't been imaginary customers, quite the opposite, real, but unaware customers!

Lending club is doing something for the victims too. According to the email I received they are: Suspending late fees through the end of September (we'll credit you for any late fees assessed since Aug. 23); and suspending payments calls (you have plenty of other things to worry about right now). It's not a whole lot, but at least they're doing something. (FYI for anyone who doesn't know for sure, Lending Club does personal loans.)
