I've gotten mailers for the 1% and their prime rate cards recently. The prime rate one is interesting but I don't really carry balances.
I might take another stab at their Best Western card since they seem to be interested in me now, though. What other cobranded cards to they have?

Anything from Speedway/Speedy Rewards, ANA USA, JAL USA, China Airlines (2 reward structures), Icelandair (2 reward structures), Best Western, Sheetz, M Life, La Quinta, FordPass Rewards and a few others.
i just got one yesterday in the mail too...not knowing much about FNBO, i just threw the mailer in the trash.
maybe i should read up on it some more. is it a decent card to have?
@thornback wrote:I received a snazzy black envelope invite mailer yesterday - my first one ever and I have no accounts with them. It was also for the rewards card but I don't remember it saying "preappoved" -- I'll have to take another look at it - but it did have an access code and reservation number. Are their invite mailers basically pre-approvals or do their pre-approvals actually say "you're pre-approved"?
Well that explains how they got my address - I am JAL & ANA frequent flyer member.
Received tons of emails & offer mail for the ANA & JAL credit cards but this is the first time they sent me FNBO Rewards Visa application by mail....
I'd rather get the JAL/ANA credit card but DP show that their UW is tough to secure and their SUB is not that great..
I got their Ford rewards card 6 months ago, figured it was an easy way to get a couple of free oil changes during the year.. Couple of days ago get a message for auto CLI.. acutally never even thought of requesting one ![]()

Yes, both cards seem to be a bit tougher to obtain than their FNBO counterparts. The JAL USA application is lengthy and clunky at best, but they're currently running a limited-time SUB promotion. Given other travel CCs with decent rewards/SUBs, I think there are better options, IMO.
I got mine in the mail today, would be great if I needed a BT, fee is 3 % but I don't. Always seems to work that way, when you need it its not there, when ya don't bam!

Starting Score: 560

FOTM?
Thanks for giving me a reason not to apply. I got an invite, but I'm sure that I'll be the only one to get declined. 😔😁
