If I recall correctly, all of the Blue cards have RFID by default. I'm not sure if you can get it for Gold/Plat/etc but you can get it in the Zync if you call in and order.
I remember when they first came out with the Blue...it had a smart chip back then (this was 2001-2002)

Also, only authorized RFID readers that are registered with their respective issue can process the card via RFID. So there is also some protection there.
I think the risk is just about as high as getting info stolen any other way. People don't generally get close enough to people they don't know for them to steal info via RFID, so again some protection there.
You don't need a name or an address. RFID stores the same information found on the magnetic strip. That alone is enough duplicate a credit card and use it in store.
RFID fraud is very similar to credit card skimming.

Most fraud would take place on the computer. For now it is much easier and cost productive to hack a site and take their info. To scan a RFID then process it, and reproduce it on a credit card that can be used for big ticket items is more of a hassle. Yes, they can scan it then reproduce the chip and get some free McDonuts, but that is not what the averave criminal is after...haha
If they are serious enough to process and reproduce a credit card, they are just going to hack a site. If they aren't then they are just going to swipe somebodies physical card, buy some gas then do it again. RFID fraud is not a common problem yet, so many easier and more productive methods.

That's the old Blue card before they went RFID. I don't think there's really any cosmetic difference on the Zync. The chip is just embedded in there.
