Any luck converting QuickSilverOne to QuickSilver via online chat?

Next week it will be the 6 month mark from when my platinum mastercard was upgraded to quicksilverone rewards. I want to product change to quicksilver, not sure if that can be done or if the plat. mc's are just stuck at a certain level? 

I know quicksilverone and quicksilver are basically the same but i hate the quicksilverone for some reason lol. I am sick of annual fees, although I can go through the eo process to get it removed. I feel like i charge a lot on capital one cards but i pay in full, therefore they dont make interest on me. I have had the card for three years, I am hoping they will product change me to quicksilver. Looking at the other capitalone cards out there, none of them seem that appealing? I have noticed bank of america and capitalone are kind of stale with their card offers.

If you search the forum, there's a good deal of success with PCing from QS1 to QS, but I think EO has the most success.  I'm looking to PC mine after my next CLI, since I really want a WMC.  What's your current CL on the QS1?

Getting anything converted via chat is basically  a no go you need to contact the EO for that.

I really want a WMC too! I have one quicksilverone with a 4k limit and another one with a 2k limit.

that is true! alwaus generic response and prompted to apply for another card. just curious if anyone ever got a congratulations! yes, response via chat, haha.

The only time i got a conversion through via chat was when my no hassle cap 1 rewards card was supposed to be converted to the QS. The first rep said no, even though i received a letter stating it would be changed. 2nds rep did change it for me. As for WMC, you will need a 5k limit. I tried getting mine converted to WMC through EO, it was a no go. She said i needed to call MC which didnt make sense, and the chat reps have no idea what WMC is.

qso can never convert into a QS.  However, you can get the AF removed from the qso very easy by going thru the EO and why not try a cli while you are at it. And to be honest if you shop at sams club the qso with the mastercard is much better because they dont take visa.

that is crazy for the eo to say call mastercard but i believe it! I have had sucess with the EO cli-ing me. I am going to chat up the rep next week, see what can be done. Take my soft pull on a cli next month at the 6 momth mark and then call EO. my plan is to close one card and keep one only if I have a world mastercard. Otherwise, screw it I have better cards.

So the Platinum MC can convert to QS but the QSO cant?

my account still says platinum mastercard online, just quicksilver rewards were added to it 6 months ago. I have heard different things, it might be a to each their own situation. not sure, but I never thought about how maybe u can convert plat mc to quicksilver if qualified but once you get qs1, you are left with that card?
