I'm interested in learning more about transferring the points/CB to an interest bearing account. You can do this with any CC?

It's not any special process. If you have a high yield interest savings account, you just redeem your cashback/points at regular intervals either directly to the savings account or through your regular bank account and then on to the savings account through ACH transfers. Nothing special.

This is for cards that allow redemptions to bank accounts.   If the card allows only statement credit (e.g Amex BCE/BCP/BC) either regularly redeem for credit and be done, or, if you really want the bucket of cash, use the statement credit and then transfer an equivalent amount of money to your savings account (as you no longer need to pay this bit)
