Anyone denied Target...

After doing an online application?  Is it an immediate denial or do they give you a message, then send the denial thru the mail?

Most of the posters say they get the 7 to 10 day message (or answer within 30 days message).  They have to call in a day or two to find out.

I would not worry if you get the message.

I have heared about the immidiate denial so maybe they just need to verify some stuff in order to approve you. Good luck

I got the same message and got a denial from the mail. My eq was 583 when I applied. Denial reson was too many inquiries.

Just out of curiousity, how many inquiries did you have at the time of denial?

The first time I applied for Target I was instantly denied...The second time I was instantly approved....The message said the card would be sent in 7-10 days.....

I believe they were about six. Getting those useless store cards to me is like getting a discover card.

How long did you have to wait to apply again. Did your score improve, or did you do some fixes?

Nathan when I first applied my score was 612 turned  e down anout 9 inquiries...I waited almost 2 months score was 602 had added more Tradelines and more inquiries..Got instantly approved....Catch em near the holiday you'll get it....Good luck....
