Anyone else dread the 7-10 days message?

I want to say maybe 80-85% of my credit card applications have not been instant and am always greeting by the 7-10 message.

The anticipation of seeing this just makes me nervous and gives me anxiety! I currently have the Chase Hyatt and US Bank Plat pending. Tried calling to no avail.

I just really don't like these 7-10 day credit decisions. It's like high school all over again and asking a girl out to prom and she's like... "aww thanks for asking, give me 7-10 days to think about it". Then if you get lucky and actually get approved, I don't want to get stuck with a $500 toy limit! That's like the girl saying.. you know what, I've thought about it. Sure! I'll go with you to prom, but... only AS YOUR FRIEND.

I NEVER wait... only a few banks don't have ways to move the process along these days when you have access to this board!!

I know you're right, just nervous! I was shocked when my fiance had an instant approval. But then again, she had a 'pre-selected' offer, I didn't.
