When I log into my discover IT card account and then pull up the Account profile page, my annual income is displayed with a completely wrong value ($16,000).
I have called them twice already and they say they will update it, but the wrong value is still displayed. Strangest thing: I never even gave them that amount as my income at any point, in fact my income is low 6 figures.
Does anyone else have the same issue? The main reason I am asking is that I want to get a CLI, but with a $16,000 income I doubt they would give it. Annoying!
Hmm.. just checked mine and it looks ok to me. You could try sending secure message also. That usually works best for me when I need to contact them for something. Good luck!
Mine is still showing accurately.
Same here - displays correctly
In my opinion, it's never a good idea to have your income posted on line, regardless who the creditor would be.
you can edit yourself, if you want, log in goto account profile, contact info, then edit

And what would this do in your opinion? All lenders already have this information on file which is gathered/coded from the initial application and with subsequent extensions of credit. Personal information is also on each lenders' secured site.
Contacted them via secure message. First reply was just a standard reply on how to get a CLI, as I mentioned somewhere near the end of the message why i wanted to make sure they have correct information on file.
The 2nd reply stated they updated my file again, and said it should appear online soon. I guess we'll see what their definition of soon is...
Another week down and still not resolved. They say my info is updated in their system, but the account page is still showing the wrong annual income. They say they have now forwarded my issue to a specialist and this is supposed to take another 3-5 days before action is excpected. All kind of weird and inefficient...
I hope you get faster results than me with the messed up CLI button. It is stuck now for nearly 5 months from an attempt to CLI...Message received they will try to fix it but this was 4 months ago. ...still says CLI in progress...LOL...maybe in purpose so I will not play around with this button again.
