Anyone else having problems with HSBC reporting?

Anyone else having problems with Orchard Bank Credit Card's reporting?  The report I pulled today for all 3 shows my HSBC / OB card as closed, with no reporting since June.  It also shows a limit of 420 with a high balance of 572.

This card is active, it was just used on 7-24, and the limit is actually 770.  The card did expire at the end of June, however I have already received a replacement card.

My report from 7-6 showed payment activity through May, and the correct limit, and showed as open.

I'm thinking this could be related to the possible sale of the HSBC credit card portfolio.  Has anyone else seen a similar problem?  Is there a delay in their reporting?  If I am the only one I'll have to call and see if customer no service can help me.

Thanks,

Please let us know if you do call and find anything out. With all I've been reading, I might tuck mine in the drawer for the next forseeable bit. Although with HSBC you have to use it every couple of months to keep it alive, so maybe the legendary Slurpee purchase, immediately paid off online...

Yeah, mine is pretty much only for Netflix now.  I run it up then pay it off every once in a while so I keep getting CLI's.

I've been batting around the idea of dropping it because of the AF, but I'm hoping someone big will buy it and let me convert to a better product with the original acount open date.  Slim odds, I know.

I use it to pay for my CMS, and that's it. I'm hanging onto it for another year, though, to see if it metamorphosizes into something worthwhile.

To the OP, mine didn't report for a couple of months and then started again. Now it reports my statement balance -- which is zero -- instead of my end of month balance. They must have changed their policy to be compatbile with most lenders, in anticipation of a possible buyout.

Thanks, T.  I'll hang in there.

Mine still shows May's balance. There was no update in July for Equifax or transunion. Experian updated in July to catch up to show May's balance. I paid it off on June 3rd and none of the reports reflect it yet.

nice...  Guess I better plan a few months ahead if I want the balance optimized when applying for other credit.  Hopefully they sell to a better company soon.
