Re: Anyone else never receive chase offers?

I haven’t gotten any Chase offers either. I just started getting Citi offers and I got an Amex one in February. But not Chase. Not yet anyway. I just recently opened up a checking account to get some exposure but my credit profile is a bit rough around the edges so I expect it, for now.

Re: Anyone else never receive chase offers?

Chase offers are fickle & unpredictable. I had none except for referrals for 6 months after getting my first chase with CSP though I had prequals for the entire core chase line when I got the CSP. Then suddenly I had offers for all the core cards again only to have them all disappear a couple weeks later, then they all came back except slate had been replaced with auto loan and mortgage refi.

All the while I had been well over 5/24 with rapidly improving credit (+60-150pts in 6 months), sub 5% uti newly clean reports after collection deletions and 5 new cards including the CSP. I never checked APR ranges until news came that rules with offers changed and no longer guaranteed to get around 5/24 or even been the guaranteed sure thing those checks had been but more akin to marketing offers or so-so prequals. Mine are currently all ranges.

It's one of those extremely profile & internal risk score specific situations where people inexplicably over/under-qualified for cards are getting the opposite effect of what you'd expect. Plus many people who never got an offer are still batting 100 when it comes to cold apps being approved.

I feel like every time I visit these wonderful forums, there's 10,000 posters listing out all their chase selected for you offers with green checkmarks. Freedom, Unlimited, Sapphire, Ink Preferred, Marriott, Ritz, etc.

I've never seen a legitimate chase offer since I began checking a couple years back.

I always get the same three ridiculous offers: $250 for a chase mortgage, business lending (??), And an offer for a business card swiper machine (!?)

I have decent credit and am a long time chase checking customer. No derogs. I have good prequaled offers from Amex (Plat offer) among many others.

Do you also never get these awesome offers?

No I'm in the same boat you are Smiley Happy

I don't get offers from ANYONE, esp Penfed. Offers are for those who are offered not those who offerSmiley Wink

Don't feel bad, Joe. Think of all those turbo tax discounts you've been reeling in Smiley Happy

Re: Anyone else never receive chase offers?

Im happy to see this post bc i have thought about asking this question here, too. I have been banking with Chase for 2.5 years. They are my primary bank so they know my decent income from my direct deposit every week. I have a good checking & savings with them...no negatives on either one. No bk's. Im a CFU holder, that i apped through the bank over a year ago. The CFU, always PIF, is my daily driver. Ive showed it lots of love and i have received no love back! I have never got a green check mark for anything else besides referring a friend and opening another savings account. Im thinking on apping for a new daily driver card this week bc im actually getting bored of the no love back relationship with Chase.

Re: Anyone else never receive chase offers?

No credit card offers for me either in the last several years. I just assumed it was because I already had a card with such a high limit (67k) that they just didn't want to lend to me any more. That, and I have been over 5/24 for the past couple years as well.

Re: Anyone else never receive chase offers?

I have them but I have not pulled the trigger on either Freedom card. I’m definitely over 5/24!

Re: Anyone else never receive chase offers?

I don't get them, but I'm way over 5/24 and have about all the credit Chase is going to extend to me right now anyway. I have a 25 year history with Chase (very first credit card account with them and still open), but over the past 24 months I've opened 7 cards with them, closed three of those in less than a year (after getting sign-up bonus), shifted credit lines around, and basically been happy not to get shut down with my shenanigans with them and other credit cards during my great sign-up bonus marathon.

So, now I am cooling my jets. I'll ask for some decreases over the next year to make room for at least one more Chase card.

Re: Anyone else never receive chase offers?

I've been a Chase customer for about 11 years and I had to cold app for my Slate (which I got with a $500 SL back when my scores were in the 640s). Now that I'm GettheFicoOutofHere/24, I'm not sure I even want any of their cards. My wife got her FU via the green checkmarks.

No credit news is good credit news!
