Anyone ever request 3x CLI with AMEX while Experian is frozen?

I picked up my Delta card in June and recently PC'd to the Blue Cash Everyday. I want to try for the 3x CLI but all of my bureaus are frozen. Do they require a lift even though its a SP?

I was able to request a credit limit increase when it was frozen.

It's not really a soft inquiry; they just use the report they have on file. They, along with many other lenders, check reports fairly often and keep the information on file. When you request a limit increase with American Express they use the report that they have to determine if the account qualifies. This is a good thing and a bad thing. It's good because no inquiry obviously. Bad because they could be using a two or three month old report that may have accidental high balances or recently opened accounts.

Should be no issue. As existing customer, they can pull your report whenever they like and whether or not report is frozen. Don't have to worry with Amex cli, but frozen report does not prevent existing creditor from hard pulling your report if they like.
