Anyone ever try backdoor # to HSBC to get CLI and avoid a hard pull ?

I really need a CLI on my GM flex card (HSBC) but I don't want a hard pull. Anyone ever call the backdoor number and ask for a CLI and made it a point to state "I don't want a hard pull" and got the CLI without a hard pull?

never mind...just called the backdoor number and they said they can only do a CLI with a hard pull. Can you say JUNK ?

HSBC is hard to negotiate with.

And the customer rep tries to decline you in a nice way that you just wanna shove the phone in his mouth to make him shut up. lol

HSBC is one card I will most likely be closing as soon as I get my Chase card. Lowsy 300 CL and no auto CLI's at all.

That is a shame they don't do auto CLI's too often. It's been more than a year that I have had my GMflexcard with a lousy 500 limit. I used to own a Citi card with a 25,000 limit. HSBC is a joke and they are just losing money this way.
