Anyone know when/if Diner's Club is opening apps again?

Our Consumer card application is unavailable while we make improvements

While we work to improve the application process, the option to apply for our two Consumer cards: Diners Club Card Elite or a Diners Club Card Premier is temporarily unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience.

ugh, how long's it been now? 5 months?

I read they pull TU.  I wonder if their new algorithem will be INQ sensitive.  Hope not. 

5 Months is a lot time to shut down apps.  Sucks.

Agreed... It is all TU.  I doubt if it will be changing soon but you never know..

I saw on another forum someone called and was told they would have cards available around the end of the year, maybe December.  In other words, they have no idea.

It does not look good to say the least. many friends know i have the premier and they keep asking me when is it coming back. i nor the customer service reps have any clue. unless they are in upper management no way they can tell you. it would be different if their stories were consistent. which it is not. all you can do is check once in a while. im sure once the first app is taken. it will spread like a wild fire.

Is this the BMO Mastercard disguising as a Diners Club that you're talking about?

It's the diners club disguised as a BMO Mastercard we are referring to.

Well, it's not really Diners because it's the only card in the world that uses the MC network instead of Discover/DCI. I believe BMO only has a couple years left on the US/Canada contract and no one knows if Discover will renew or take the card in a different direction (perhaps making Diners it's North American business card.) So I'd be surprised if BMO put much effort into customer acquisition now.
