Contactless cards are the RFID cards, which are not a good idea unless you have the signal blocking wallet. Also, how lazy can a person be to think "oh, swiping or inserting my card is such a chore!!!" Psssh...
Contactless moves much more quickly than waiting on the chip, or at least that's been my experience with Apple Pay. If I have the option to use Apple Pay, I almost always do.

Oh, granted, even swiping works quicker than chipping! My problem with contactless is the fact that your info is at greater risk of thieves stealing it.
That being said, if I'm making a purchase, I like *using* the card, not simply having it. I like the intimacy of the mechanics.
I believe newer contactless cards are encrypted and tokenized. Plus anyone with one of those should be carrying an RFID wallet anyways.
Remember, contactless card fraud in Europe is miniscule, less than 1/2 of a percent of their overall fraud numbers.

Recommending a RFID wallet basically confirms to everyone who's already hesitant that the technology isn't secure enough.
That said, the cards are only readable up to a couple of inches away, so IMO I wouldn't bother with such a wallet. And I personally don't think it's any worse than chip and signature from a security perspective either.
If someone did snarf your token.. it would be useless... its like a one time virtual credit card number.....
Contactless EMV is just as secure as contact... even if they physically were close enough.. and grabbed the rf... the recieving end would reject it because it was already used....
Think some folks need to take off the tin foil hats...
Some of the older tech ways of doing it were a bit less secure.. but tokenization does wonders for security... the token your card generates is only good for that transaction and is only decrypted when it reaches its final destination
