I have both.  I have the VentureOne only because it was a PC from QuicksilverOne (to get rid of the AF...but they wouldn't let me PC to Quicksilver).

Then I app'd for the Venture for the bonus.

VentureOne CL is $5,500

Venture CL is $10,000

his scores range from 780 to 815 across board. i told him about the venture and he applied. but he got the 7-10 message on the app.

i was like how in the hell. i can't beleive it. but its because he was thinking they were asking for monthly income and his income is low. so he put in 2k. i said come on man. you only make 2k per year? he said. no. 24k. so i told him to call them and a csr put info correctly in app. for some reason the next morning he apped again for the venture one. and made sure everything was correct. he got a 10k limit.

after about 5 days. he got email from cap one saying his regular venture was also approved.

So results.

I recently got a venture with a starting CL of 15K. Any chance they would match or give a higher CL for aping for the venture one? Or maybe just app for a QS

my goal is to get 2 products per bank. Cap one is my last one. Not interested in the discover products and chase, well burned me recently. BofA hates me

Well I told you of my brother. But also two friends. 1 has two ventures. Matched limits. 15k each. Other has venture and venture one. Both 10k each. I would say they will match. But the friend with two ventures. They called hm from fraud dept. to make sure it was him that apped it. He said yes. As I'm traveling abroad. No problem. 2 15k limits.

edit: i would not do it because i already have a plat.1k. a quicksilver. 5500. and a venture 5k. so its enough with me for 1 lender. 11500 thru cap one .have already nearly reach 100k in limits. 84 right now. but my amex is due for cli in 2 weeks. hoping to get it to 25k. currently at 10500.

App'd for venture one...CL is $7,500 which is exactly have of what my venture was approved for. Can't wait til they start allowing for reallocating limits again, circa < 2011

I'm sure I went about it backwards but I apped for the Venture One because I liked the idea of no AF and that was approved.  Then with word that Capital One may use the same HP, I apped for the Venture and got denied.  Looked at my CR and saw one HP on the 20th and one HP on the 21st
