So I recently SD'd my Capital One cards, and was looking to "replace" them with a Chase freedom. I have a BK7 from 2011 that is just killing me, especially with Chase, AMEX, and Citi. None of them were burned in the BK. Does Chase have any co branded cards I might have a chance of getting? I just wanted to get a foot in the door with Chase, and my portfolio will be completed. I know they aren't BK friendly at all but I was told GE is and they deny me everytime so maybe theres hope to go the other way? Any advice would be great. And I know waiting is an option, but the thought of waiting 7 more years just isn't comprehendable lol.
I'd say no on Chase.
What GE cards are denying you?
what is your TU?

Yep, I almost threw my laptop I was that angry...but I got a grip and didn't. They sent me the letter stating I didn't have enough experience with premium cards.

Did you try and recon that? That sounds like BS.. WTH do they consider premium cards, I mean seriously they are GE bank what are they expecting.. lol. Anyways, I would be calling over and over until someone approved my application!
It took me 8 years after Chap 7 BK to get in with Chase and I had to recon

I did not recon, I recon'd Chase 4-5 times and go nowhere so at that point I figured it'd be the same with GE. And thats exactly what I was wondering what is a premium card? I wouldn't consider Walmart or Amazon store cards "premium".
And as far as Chase, I'm getting closer to realizing I have a long wait until I get a card with them...SIGH.

Don't worry. Same here. Really wanted one of their cards and I applied too soon so I'm really trying much harder to wait several months. Never taking the CK suggestions seriously again. Back to gardening.
