Yep, I almost threw my laptop I was that angry...but I got a grip and didn't. They sent me the letter stating I didn't have enough experience with premium cards.
What a bunch of BS......as if their cards are freakin' premium.
Now I can see if it was coming from lenders like citi chase and what have you but........Coming from GE, it just doesnt resonate.

I have amazon and walmart since 6/13, had no issue being approved but haven't been able to get any CLI's......since opening.
Just apped for paypal xtra mc last week and got denied, they offered smartconnect after recon but I rejected it. ( I closed on smartconnect early this year back in 2/14)
Ended up with HP with nothing to show for.....but i'm good.
Qs1 gave me a 500 cli today,
What kind of CL you got on Amazon and Walmart?

I did not recon, I recon'd Chase 4-5 times and go nowhere so at that point I figured it'd be the same with GE. And thats exactly what I was wondering what is a premium card? I wouldn't consider Walmart or Amazon store cards "premium".
And as far as Chase, I'm getting closer to realizing I have a long wait until I get a card with them...SIGH.
Don't worry. Same here. Really wanted one of their cards and I applied too soon so I'm really trying much harder to wait several months. Never taking the CK suggestions seriously again. Back to gardening.

GE is really easy to recon. I would at least attempt it that way you can at least say you tried!
ummm... you can't recon GE denials... you can only recon CL's after approval.
Thats interesting...... I reconed paypal xtra mc after denial and offered a smartconnect which I declined....
they offered me the smartconnect at 300, xactly same limit I had on this b4 i closed it early 2/14

my bk discharged 6/12............banks I burned ( chase citi amex ge barclay and cap1)
Denied for PP xtra Mc last week, have not received a letter yet and I dont care.
Like I said, being approved for ge cards was not the problem for me at least.......its just that I have not been able to get any CLI's
On a side note got a 500 bumnp from cap1, which brings me to 2000

400 on wally and 700 on amazon.......and all that 4 months auto cli with GE crab has not worked for me.
