App spree question

When you go on an application spree, don't the inquiries show up instantly on your credit report?  I want to make sure i do this correctly.

IME, about 90% are immediate. I had app'd for some CCs, especially via small banks or CUs, and they often didn't pull until the next day (manual review I'm supposing).

I went on an app massacre on Saturday.  About 70% showed up immediately.  The rest showed up the next day.  

My USAA credit monitor was getting a workout.
