I would give it 6 months then go for Discover.
Every time you app and you have a new account hit your cr, your score will drop but its temporary and usually takes 6 mos to recoup. Some not as much depending on your profile but because your AAOA is low if you are going to app for a Discover - do it now before those new cc's hit.
Is discover worth getting? Or should I stay with what I got and garden, I have been getting pre approve mails from discover every other day
It's a personal decision. I luv my Discover ( not so much this qtr 😕) but I also love my Freedom and other cc's. it definitely depends on what your needs are and whether it will fit your buying habits.
One last thing is 4 new Account going to be okay? In the span of two week?
I mean if I do apply for the discover would my 3 new account hurt me in their decision? I only received my chase CC and still waiting for the citi n Amex cards
Are the new cc's on your cr? If not, what could hurt you is the sheer number of inq's on a thin file. Why not wait until the fall after your new accounts age and then they can see how you handle multiple cc's?
Ok thanksss I think I'll just go garden mode till next year and wait for my 5 inquires to drop off. I am already happy I got approved for 3 CC instantly
