Penfed was an instant approval for 20k just arrived today
Chase Freedom World master card instant approval for 7k arrived saturday. I know It won't be reported. if it becomes a problem in the future, we will chage it. for now we will enjoy it and let it grow.
Merryll Lynch + Visa also arrived saturday, took a few days but approved for 2.5k. I asked for 7k but I was told I have enough on my bofa card. felt like cancelling, but I took it anyway. It will grow.

It took one GW letter to remove one late payment, a balance transfer from multiple cards to one card, and a decrease in utilization to bring her score up.
