Applied again for a Discover card, and didn't get an instant decline!

Normally it tells me it needs additional time and I can check discovercard.com/check status. When I would log in it would show my decline immediately.

This time it says it needs time, so I'm crossing my fingers.

I kinda hoped this month would be different, as my app spree from Oct-Nov 2007 turned 6 months old, and my TU jumped up 11 points to 688. However, I did also receive several more cards since February 2008, so I hope that's not enough to ruin it for me.

Yes, after I get a real Discover I will check into the Concorduser center.

Thats a good sign for you, when I app for Discover last time it took

them two business days and then on the third day I reveived an email from them I was

approved. GL

Mine took a few days as well. I received a letter that they couldn't verify my address and I had to send in proof.

Wahhhhooooooo! Finalllllly!

I got approved for a Discover card. My last decline was due to "too many new accounts with balances", so when they finally reported this time, my accounts reporting were just one, BOA with $2 on a $19,500 CL. They pulled TU and mine is at 688.

I was approved for a Discover Motiva, opening CL of $6000 and IR of 19.24 (ew). However, since I PIF it shouldn't matter.

I couldn't have done it without you guys! Thanks so much.
