Applied for Jared

Seeing a lot of Jared questions lately.

Guess I'll throw mine in the ring.

I keep reading they share limits. So if I have Jared, Kay and JBRobinson they will share the same amount? I have Kay at $6000 and since my Equifax was clear I figured I'd apply for the other two.

I called Jared CS. They said they have should have my app there by tomorrow. I'll know tomorrow if they have approved it for me.

They approved me for Kay, then applied for Jared... got the message then received the card the next week.  They did however pull 2 HARD PULLS!

Did they explain how the shared lines work? I don't do jewelry store cards but am definitely intrigued

My only question is becuase there shared... if I use my Kays card today... like im going to! I deserve diamonds for christmas... will that balance report on my Jared card too... or will my Jared just sit there with a nice 0 balance and high cl to give me great util!!?

I checked my CR and there is a new hard from Sterling for the Jared. My inq's are only 4 on EQ I guess it is not too bad. I have to wait and see if the Jared card is approved and how it will show on my CR.

I have Kay, Jared and J.B. Robinson.  My Kay account reports a $1900 balance.  The other two report $0.00 balance.  They are great for lowering utilization.  Just beware that their minimum payment is a larger percentage than the major CC's.  On the $1900 balance, my minimum payment is $120 per month.

3 new credit lines with $1500 a piece would be to fab for my credit

Although my orchard bank card opened on my credit report with a $1 balance and my score on EQ dropped from 588-552... AS IF!

Hopefully within a couple months of that aging, it will go well past the original.
