Apply for Experian Reporting CCC

Hello to All,

I've reading the forum today and found is very heplful and hoping to get some help. My score have been in the mid-500's the last couple of years. My brother-in-laws add me in to his cc (amex, discover, and chase) two months ago. I'm presently have orchard, cap1, 1st premier. My EX jump to 792 and TU, EQ remain the same. I like to apply for CCC that report to experian only. Any suggestion to which CCC. Thanks a millions.

Re: Apply for Experian Reporting CCC

Hi Tiana, and welcome to the forum! Smiley Happy

I do not know of any credit card that only reports to EXP. All of my cc's report to all 3.

Why should you worry about a cc reporting to only one credit reporting agency when you have an excellent score of 792? Surely your TU & EQ scores cannot be MUCH different than EXP.

Is that 792 a true FICO score, or some other kind of credit score?

Re: Apply for Experian Reporting CCC

Syl, I think OP means s/he is looking for a CC that pulls from EX (correct me if I'm wrong).

Check whogavemecredit dot com, and the credit pulls database at CB.

Oh, hi Anderson. That very well could be. I was only going by what she asked in the body of her post. Good eye! Smiley Wink

Re: Apply for Experian Reporting CCC

Hi Anderson/Sylvia

Just want to clarify the info...I live in CA and I got the 792 as a AU with CC from my in-law. I still have some issue with TU and EQ to be corrected. Thank you for the quick response and I will check out the site Anderson mention.

Hi, Tiana, welcome to the forums, and congrats on the card!

I would also suggest applying with Bank of America, which usually pulls EX. They tend to be generous with credit limit increases, as long as you are prompt with your payments and you pay more than the minimum.

AmEx is a bit eccentric these days, to put it kindly, and it would be a good idea to have a backup. A BofA (Bank of America) Visa or Mastercard would be a good additional card.

Re: Apply for Experian Reporting CCC

You're welcome, Congrats! Read the Amex threads on the forums, Amex can be unpredictable. Try to PIF & keep a low profile. FWIW I've had Blue for about 6 months with no probs so far, I treat it as a charge card.
