Apply for Jared or wait

From what I've seen, Kay is pretty liberal with approvals and CL's and they seem to pull EQ or TU.

Eq currently 660:
Goods: 3 CC's with limits from 7k-10k, utilization around 1% (ages range from 2years to 11 years)
Bad: 1 Paid Collection
Bad: 6 1/2 year old Cap1 CO.

TU: 654
Goods: 2 CC's with limites from 7k-10k, utilization around 1% (2years to 11 years range)
Bad: 2 Unpaid Collections

I currently have DV's and OC's out for the Paid/Unpaid/CO's.

Given how liberal they are though, do you think even if all the baddies fall off, it will make a big difference to my odds of getting approved and/or my CL?

Re: Apply for Jared or wait

I am not sure why you want app for Jared if you have Kay Card. Both Jared and Kay share the same balance. If you app for Jared you'll get a card but it will also cost you a hard inq on your CR. But the actual CL is going to just what you got from Kay. If you want have an extra trade line report on your CR then you can app for Jared. But you are not really getting any extra credit that what you already have.

Re: Apply for Jared or wait

Well if you mean when assigned to CA 2003 and 2005. If you mean when OC CO'd late '01 to mid '02.

The paid collection DOFD is 8/05, PIF 12/07.

I think I am 50/50 on getting one or more of these off the report. They drop off on their own between june and december.

I think you'd get the Kay card.  Don't quote me on that, though.  YMMV, as always.

I have a feeling I'd get it as well, I'm just wondering if by some chance my collections/CO DO drop off after DV's if that will have any serious impact on any CL they might give me.
