Hello everyone, right now I have a Chase Amazon.com Visa Signature card. I'm thinking about applying for another card, any suggestions?
Also, if, in the future that I don't like the new card can I close it transfer all the limit to the Chase Amazon.com card?
Right now I have 1 inquiry on my credit report (less than 3 months agao) and 3 new accounts (less than 6 months).
Ty.
A few questions:
* When was your last Chase card opened?
* Which Chase card do you want to apply for?
* What is your income?
* What range are your FICO scores?
If your Chase account was opened more than 30 days ago and everything else is good, you should be okay with a Freedom or CSP. Chase will let you move some limits around with some limitations on Signature cards, I believe the opened donor must have at least $5k.

You only need a min $5k CL to get a Siggy card but after that it can be any limit.
My Chase sapphire is a Siggy that started at $5,000 but now is $4,500 since I moved $500 to my Amazon Visa Card
OP I have 5 chase cards in total: Amazon Visa, Chase Freedom, Chase Sapphire , Chase Sapphire preferred and Marriott premier

How do you only have 1 inquiry but 3 new accounts? You were able to open three trade lines with a single HP?
i applied for a freedom and got approved, then 10 days later i applied for a csp and they denied me because the freedom was too new, said they wanted to see how i used the freedom, however YMMV because i see people here that have been approved for 2 chase cards in a short amount of time. just adding my experience in here.
CSP is the way to go, $400 cash back, $500 if used for travel, with 3k spend is one of the best deals out there, no AF for the first year, keep the card a year PC to CS or possibly freedom not sure if its possible to go to the freedom, or just AP again in a year for the freedom card and get $100 cash back.
I think it depends on what you want out of a card but I think CSP is one of the best Chase cards out there.

You can get much better value than 500 for travel with csp , its close to 500 for cash back like 480 at the very min. For travel its an lot closer to 1k. With all that being said if you are unsure about your credit i would go for freedom first.

Sorry for taking a year to get back and not replying ... apologies
I ended up closing my Chase Amazon.com card and applied for the CSP. I called the customer service they told me they were not able to transfer the credit limit from the Amazon card to the CSP since I was not eligible so I just closed it.
Thanks for all your responses!

Just curious, why did you close the Chase Amazon card?
