Ok, as much as it pains me to wait, I will do just that.

I did get a good SL for CSP i think, $16,000.  So I imagine they probably like me just fine.  If I get my CSP next week, and still no information on the freedom, I guess I'll call. I just definitely do not want to incur another HP at this point for another card.

Thanks all!

Um yeah... I don't know what you other cards, salary or credit limit look like but I'd say that's a darned good CL for CSP. Do you use Credit Karma or any other  score watch software? You should have gotten the inquiry by now. While I have heard of people getting one inquiry I got two when I apped for my freedom and my CSP.

Re: Approved for CSP, app for Freedom ignored?

Congrats on your approval for the one card at least! Smiley Happy

How's your credit look overall? I'm thinking of applying for the CSP and the Freedom in a few weeks and wondering how others compare to get an idea if I have a shot.

Thanks! Smiley Happy

Re: Approved for CSP, app for Freedom ignored?

Ficos are all in the 720 range.  Sal is 150K.  I think the fact that I have < 20% util and 300K house, 70K car and 20K car loans help bolster "proof" of income. Just speculation of course.

With my 9K Amex BCE and the 16K csp i'll be under 9% util Smiley Wink

Re: Approved for CSP, app for Freedom ignored?

I use CK and I monitor 24/7 exp. I only saw the one Inquiry from Chase, so possibly it never actually took the app for freedom?

Also, thanks about the CSP SL. I was really happy with it!

Oh I gurantee you you it took the app for the freedom(especially if you said you got the confirmation message) it either used the same HP or CK(only does TU/Exp Fakos) doesn't monitor Exp and they could of possibly pulled that.  If you use CK for monitoring.

Re: Approved for CSP, app for Freedom ignored?

My apologies.

I have CK for monitoring TU and Equifax, and I am a paid member with experian to monitor them 24/7.  I saw a single inquiry on equifax and experian from chase.

Thanks for clarifying you can be rest assured they got the pull for the Freedom card.. You either got double pulled for the CSP approval or a single pull for the CSP and a single pull for the freedom.  Regardless those are the only pulls you will have and you will hear something back on the freedom soon enough if you can hold back.

I am with you...know exactly how you feel ... just been through this with my Fidelity app and Elan Financial.  Tried to call status line and it wanted to connect to a live rep so I did hang up again and waited. With US Bank I had success waiting and the same with Elan today.

Congrats, nice interest rate, though the SL seems low for you, but it is related to US bank.  Smiley Wink

Hey gang,

I apped for the csp as well as the freedom last week and got the 7-10 message. Today, I checked status and found out I was approved.  I called up the CSR and found out I had been approved for the CSR, I guess the freedom app had been ignored?

I wouldn't mind having the freedom as well.  If I call them back, or apply again, will it still use the same HP they used to give me the CSP, or will I incur another HP?

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks!

Something to consider:

I know for a fact Chase has a glitch in there system for whatever reason..(shrugs)Smiley Surprised

I applied for 2 cards within seconds of each other and both gave me the 30 day message but the 2nd app never showed up via phone lady which I thought strange...Hmmm

So I called sure enough my 1st app was visible but the second wasn't. The system didn't pick it up for some reason .....so I was instructed by UW if I wanted it to reapply

Which I did and it then showed up within seconds....

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?
