Approved for CSP, app for Freedom ignored?

Sometimes, even when they say no hard pull (they did that with me), it is still a hard pull.

I would just get the card. Those two go great together, and in the end, it's what you wanted. Inquiries are sometimes over rated here. If you have less than 10 on a report, you are good.

Called them. The freedom app definitely never even showed up.  Apping it today would generate a new inquiry.

I'm going to hold off on doing anything for a few weeks.  The reason is, I had timed my inquiry last month so that a computer purchase hadn't showed up on my credit report yet, taking my utilization from 15 to 21%.  However, since I apped with CSP, Ive added about $40.000 to my available credit and my util is under 10%. 

I want all that additional credit reporting before I app any new cards.  Once i see how my score looks with the lower util and modified AAOA I will probably reapply.

Glad to hear we were on point with the issue. Sorry to here that you won't be getting the Freedom, I also only have half of the power combo with a Freedom and no CSP.

OP the same thing happened to me when I tried for these cards. I got the CSP, but the Freedom app didn't go through.
