Approved for SPG with no Hard Pull?

I was approved for the SPG around April 2; received the card a week ago but still haven't seen a hard pull inquiry posted on my credit reports. From my experience the hard inquiry would usually report quickly, like the next day or two. Has anyone every gotten approved without the hard pull?  I do have 3 other cards from them, the last one from May 2016 so was wondering if that was a factor?

There are various reports of current card holders (including myself) being able to app for additional cards with Amex without HP. Is this your first Amex. If it is you will most likely see a HP here soon on your Experian report.

I remember reading something about Amex randomly approving without Hard Pulls on Reddit back in December. IIRC, they were existing cardholders though, not sure what your status is. It's certainly possible that you dodged the HP, but there is also chance of you seeing it on your credit report soon. 

 Congrats on the SPG! That card is next on my list.

This is my fourth card with Amex; last one I got was the Platinum last May. I'm thinking since I got 3 other accounts with them in good standing maybe they didn't need to pull?

Yeah that has been my experience also but there are other current card holders that have not been so fortunate..FYI...good luck!!

I got an SPG in March with no HP. My most recent previous AmEx app was 15 years ago. They SP me 3 times a month, though.
