Congrats. I am fairly sure they pulled your EX. I would not ask for a CLI. You could be in trouble once they decide to soft your other dirty reports. Good luck.

I dont think I want to ask for a CLI anymore but,,,,when I do your telling me they will pull all 3 anyway!!!

Re: Approved for a AMEX blue

it's been reported SOMETIMES amex pulls other reports, in my experience it's always been EX.

so you just have to hope they only use EX for you constantly, but it's not the CLI I would worry about, it's the monthly reviews, the review guidelines for accounts seems to be different than the approval guidelines.

No. What I am telling you is that AmEx approved you for a card based on a clean EX. IF they soft your other reports and find something they don't like who knows what they might do.

Don't give them ANY excuse to look more closely at your credit!!  Smiley Sad

Re: Approved for a AMEX blue

I applied the first week in January. Instantly denied.

The last nine years after my BK I have had perfect credit. No lates. No baddies with the exception of BK which is due to fall off in December, 2009 and ALWAYS PIF.

They pulled all three reports.

Go figure.

I would think it's normal advertising. Is your second ad titled "Reminder: Find the Right Card for You"? Then you get the same stuff I get.

Remember, this is only pre-approval, which means absolutely nothing. It is just regularadvertising mail. Pre-approval does not mean instant approval. Be aware
