Citi Double Cash and Chase Hyatt will probably go later this year.
Out of curiousity why axe the Double Cash? I have a Citi DC I don't use at all, but I hadn't thought of closing it.

Why closing the double cash? Its non-AF isn't it?

Less to worry about, if I don't use a card I close it. I'm looking to have about 5-6 cards total, I'm at 8 now.
Plus, the NFCU cashRewards I have is 1.5% with no redemption level.

But you list the Double Cash in your signature as one of your most used cards...

Yes, I close cards when I have no use for them.
Won't affect my utilization much. Limit is $1,500.

Good catch, I need to update it. Lol...
Closing my Slate card this year after the 0% promo runs out on my balance transfer... and also possibly my TY Preferred card. I thought about converting it to the Double Cash, but I already have a 2.2% card with Bank of America.
At least when I close the Slate I'll move the limit to my Freedom card and have a higher limit ![]()
Not closing any cards this year!
