Welcome to MyFico. Congrats on all the approvals.. If you are nevous about asking then it is best to wait. But asking now does not throw a wrench in your relationship with Amex whatsoever.
Also, the new account will report even if closed afterwards. So keep it at least for a year to pad utilization. How much was your Amex approved for?

Yep, that definitely matters. That's the lowest interest rate, which means they like your profile. The $2K SL is a little low, but that may not matter. Hit it on activation.

What are the limits on your other cards? I am asking these questions to see why your starting limit is 2k. They use the information in your entire file to make the initial decision as to how much to approve you for. So I hope you don't mind me asking..
