Check it out, got this email today from Beneficial Bank, the issuer of the Aspiration Zero inviting me to apply for their "Climate Card". So naturally I thought of calling to see if a PC was possible. The initial CSR was great and transferred me to their "Credit Card Operations" department bit they were closed (not 24/7 I guess. Direct# is: 503-445-8705). Gonna call them tomorrow and see if it's possible, wouldn't that be cool? Keep y'all posted...
Looks like they prefer new apps for this card by promoting a balance transfer with no fee until May 31st.
Probably can't target specifically current Aspiration Zero cardholders per some backroom agreement but it looks like generic "encouragement" to all of their customers to move their debt for free to a card just like the one they already have. ![]()
Reminds me of the great Amex-Costco / Amex-Citi migration.. but not as hard core.
Wow... almost forgot that one. I won't do it if I have to apply (don't really need the padding) but if they allow me to PC, I'll jump on it. 😉
You have to apply on thier website and have a hard pull on your Experian credit and be approved by underwriting. Of course i was denied with a 760 FICO

I'm not familiar with these cards. What were the bens of the old card and what are the bens of the new card?
Old card provided padding for 2 years. The new one will continue the tradition until 2024.
Yeah, it was a FOTM a while ago. Who knows? I haven't really chased it because it ain't gonna affect my util at all and I can't get that department on the line. ![]()
