Does anyone know of any company that will allow someone to be added as AU?? We have tried Bank of America and Home Depot. Home Depot said no problem, but didn't ask my dad for my social just my DOB and address, so I'm thinking that it will not reflect on my credit report. My dad has a 740 Beacon and is willing to help us however he can, but we keep running into roadblocks. UGH!

Some issuers no longer require a SS# for an AU. I know that BoA will report as will Citi, Cap 1 and Discover.

If you have some factors in common on your reports (last name, shared addresses, even if former addresses, phone numbers, etc.), they don't need an SSN to report.
Discover reported me without a SSN, and BofA and AmEx reported DXH and DD#2 without SSN's. OTOH, DXH was (hmmm, still is!) an AU on my PenFed Visa, and it never reported on his account.
