Authorized users

question - if I get added to my husbands credit cards, will that report on my CR?  Is that for all cards and if so, does that help when I apply for the same card I am an Auth user on?

Re: Authorized users

Most will report and yes it will help as long as the cards are in good standing and low utilization . As always YMMV.

Re: Authorized users

I was added to my wife's AMEX, CITI & DISCOVER cards 10 months back. Recently I got approved for 3 AMEX and DICOVER IT myself. So it definitely helps. And yes they all report to your CR.

Chase typically excludes AU history from their algorithms.  Simply being added as an AU doesn't guaranteee or tilt chances for an approval, unfortunately.  This will be based on your own creditworthiness.  However, being added as AU will contribute to your scores and overall history though.
