Congrats! My opinion on them softened after they gave me a CLI in June. They're not too bad.
I'm glad to hear of some positive stories form Juniper/Barclays.
I received a letter from them two weeks ago which stated that my CL was being decreased from $2000 to $1150 due to a recent delinquency. I called to inquire about the "recent delinquency" and was told that I had prior late payments resulting in late fees and an over the limit fee. I still couldn't recall this happening and asked them to provide me the dates. My payment was 1 day late in Feb 2009...8 months ago. They couldn't provide any other delinquency information (because there is none).
I'm really disappointed. . And I'm afraid now that when I pay off my balance that they will decrease further or cancel altogether. I've moved this one to the bottom of my payoff sequence...just in case.

I got a Juniper/Barclays (Caseys) card 2.5 years ago, CL of $7.5K. A year ago I asked for a CLI and it went to $8.5 K. Just checked my statement today and it has gone up to $9.5 K!
Congrats, MV! Gotta love those automatics!
I got the Juniper Barnes and Nobles 12/08 and last month received an auto CLI from $2500 to $3500. My "regular" Juniper card, obtained 10/08, remains at $2000....no auto increase (and I haven't asked for one----is it a hard pull with them?).
Maybe things are loosening a bit??? Last month DH got auto increase on Discover More (from $1500 to $2000) and Citi Plat (from $2800 to $3900). Both cards were opened summer of 2008.
I'm with you, Mark.
No auto CLI for 2 years, then I asked for one this past March and I went from $500 to $1500. I didn't want to be greedy. I'm ready for at least $5k on this card. I'm hoping they'll see my larger limits and wise up.
I got an auto CLI from Barclay BJ's this month from $5K to $6K. I like them just fine.
They did rate bump me from 15.74 to 19.74 about 6 months ago, but oh well. Rewards cards generally have higher rates. I like that they post temporary transactions on the website immediately.
If you request a CLI, go through the backdoor. They will try for an internal CLI, then do a hard pull on TU if you want them to proceed. That got me my first from $3K to $5 in February. If I had not requested that one, I probably would have gone from $3K to $4K this time.
Just logged into Juniper and my first card (new 10-08) also got a CLI from $2K to $3K.
Not sure their rhyme or reason, if any, for if and when CLIs are given, as my B&N is the newer card (12-08) but it got the CLI at 9 mos.
I'm very happy to have received these 2 auto CLIs
DW got a $1600 CLI, but they required her to take a cash advance to get it (use a convenience check). Basically she had a $2k CL, they offered to increase her CL by up to $1500 by using a convenience check. She went ahead and wrote the $1500 check, deposited it and then wrote a check back. They raised her CL to $3.6k which was $100 more than they had said. It cost her about $45 in cash fees.
