@Rudy1 wrote:That intresting to hear. I always thought about applying for this card but I didn't want another Synchrony account. I might actually apply for a card from the new lender. My guess is it will be Comenity. Though we could get really unlucky and it could be Capital One then I wouldn't apply.
Same here... I'm very selective when applying for anything from Synchrony these days due to my existing exposure and the fact that my two oldest accounts are with Synchrony (and I don't want them closed).
If the new issuer is Capital One it'll be a hard 'no' for me (not worth the triple-pull) and if it's Barclays it'll be out of my reach (blacklist), but if it does happen to be Comenity then I might consider it. If it's Wells Fargo or Citi, well, I'll have to think about it, LOL.
Oddly, the last 10-15 years I've somehow managed to have accounts with nearly every bank except Comenity. (Not counting the now-defunct Blispay, which was 'sorta' Comenity near the end of its existence.)
Yeah im the same in terms of Synchrony they aren't my oldest account but I do have a good amount of CL with them less than a lot of people but I still wouldn't want to lose it.
Ha @UncleB! If the new issuer is Cap1 not only is not worth the tripple pull it would not be worth it to get a $3000 limit. I think B&H is making a mistake if they go with Cap1 or Barclays. Honestly I could see my self apping for the card from Barclays if it went to them once i'm out of the garden but a HP for a cli sucks.
I've had a Comenity Mastercard ex Wayfair for a while now and have no complaints. I have had other Comenity cards before and enjoyed them all. If your buying camera equitment the other good things is Comenity will give large CL's and CLI's.
On a photography forum, a member claims to have gotten a reply from a B&H rep who said they were moving away from Synchrony because so many customers were complaining and having accounts closed without any reason.
Sound familiar to folks here??

Lol i highly doubt thats why they are parting ways but wouldnt it make those with closed accounts feel better.
Looks like Comenity picked up the B&H account!
Yay!
I love Comenity.
