ok before the GCSA (Garden Club Security Agency), gatekeepers, and ERT jump on me...this is not my app! my sister app'd for the Alaskan Airline siggy online last night and was instantly denied. she travels to Vancouver every 3 or 4 months (her partner lives there). so i mentioned to her that in my quest for credit recently, i came across this one. i dont have any use for it since my wife, kids, and i would rather drive when we vacation to enjoythe sceneries, i told herit would be great for her since she always travels alaska air to go to Canada. she applied at alaska air's website and was instantly denied. i gave her credit analyst backdoor # but it says office closed. she was able to talk to telesales because a cs rep said they would handle recons...but repsshe spoke with there said she will need to write and mail recon request when she gets the denial letter. she spoke to several repsin telesales and always the same answer. does the back door number only work during weekdays?

figured i start off with the disclaimer. didn't want to bump somebody off the watchlist over a misunderstanding lol! hoping she gets the recon approval for the siggy though. i understand that the cardmember does not have to be travelling with the companion...just as long as the regular ticket and companion fare is paid with the card, is that correct? because if it is...i will have to collect on me giving her a good suggestion and use the companion fare in the future so i can take the wife on a romantic getaway weekend
